FC Red Star New Zealand is an official FC Red Star Belgrade academy. The academy was established in 2017 in Auckland, aiming to identify talented players, provide a first-class football education in a professional environment necessary for developing players capable of playing at the top level.

FC Red Star Belgrade is the most successful Eastern European football club. In addition to winning the European Champions Cup (now Champions League) and the Intercontinental Cup (FIFA Club World Cup), the club  is notable for its massive  fan  base and academy which consistently  produces  top  professional football players.

With the population of just over 7 000 000, Serbia is the 4th largest exporting country in football world. Only Brazil, Argentina and France have more players in foreign clubs.

A large number of more than 670 Serbian players abroad went through the FC Red Star Belgrade Academy, which is widely considered one of the premier football academies in Europe

FIFA U20 World Champions

Eight players from the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup winning Serbian team were product of the FC Red Star Belgrade Academy.
