Welcome To Wandsworth Lions FC (WLFC)
Wandsworth Lions Football Club (WLFC) is a FA Chartered Standard football club based in Wandsworth.
​
Our aim is to provide a football club where players within the Wandsworth borough and surrounding areas can get quality coaching and learn how to play the game.
​
A person with a Lions heart is never scared; at WLFC we look to develop young technically-sound players who are brave on the ball and trust in their ability to be able to play the beautiful game in a positive way, never scared to be creative with the ball and hunt for the ball without it.

Centre Of Excellence (WLFC Teams)
Our centre of excellence is invitation only. Children age 6+ (year 2 and over) who excel at the development centre classes or our annual open trials are selected to represent Wandsworth Lions FC in league matches and cup competition. We also look at new players (U9-U14) during our holiday camp.

Children selected must be available on Sundays for matches, from September to mid May during the youth football season. If a child is selected to represent the club, they would also need to be available for Tuesday technical training, and Thursday or Friday for tactical training during the youth football period (September to mid May).

The centre of excellence requires a lot of commitment from parents and children so we select players we believe are committed to football. Our teams participate in the Tandridge Youth League.
Development Centre
Our development centre classes are held on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and is the perfect children who are just beginning their football journey, looking for extra training or parents looking for their child/children to get involve in sports and/or want to build confidence. Sessions are topic based and tailored for all abilities.

Our Wednesday and Friday weekly classes are members only so a child/children must be booked in as monthly or full term member to attend. Saturday weekly classes are for both members and non-members, or parents/guardians who would like a tryout session before booking their child as a member.
• Gold member - once a week training (Wednesdays, Friday or Saturdays).
• Platinum member - twice a week training (Wednesdays | Friday | Saturdays).​
Part of player development is playing matches against other opponents. Members maybe selected to represent the club in Saturday friendly matches against other opponents on Saturday, or invited to represent the club at tournaments.

Girls Only Football
Our girls only football class is tailored for girls who are enthusiastic about football and developing their skills, but would prefer to train with other girls.
​
Our classes are held on Tuesdays. Parents/guardians can book in their child/children as a monthly or full term member, or book in as a non-member. We also offer a tryout session for parents/guardians who would like a tryout session for their children before becoming a member.
​
Parents/guardians who would like to combine girls only classes with our mix development classes can book Wednesdays or Saturdays along with out girls only football classes.
